This tutorial shows how to work with the Convert Control Window. It allows to edit the histogram to do your image analysis. This video tutorial explains the "Recorder" bar and the "Recorder Tools" available with pco.camware. The pco.camware allows you to easily navigate through image sequences within the recorder section, even if they contain many images. You can even search for events within your recorded sequences and select in- and out-marks to define the most interesting part of your sequence. This defined area of your sequence is also used for the saving dialog, which helps you reduce the amount of data that needs to be stored on your hard disc. The "Recorder Tools" allow you to set different adjustments for the record or the replay of your sequences. The averaging function can be used to increase the image quality of your recording session. This video tutorial covers everything you need to know about saving and exporting files in pco.camware. There is a significant difference between the terms saving and exporting, which will be explained in this video. To preserve images of your measurements at highest quality and dynamic range, it is always recommended to SAVE your acquired images in a RAW data format. Once measurements are saved in either a TIFF file or a PCO proprietary RAW file (e.g. .b16, .pcoraw), the data can be exported into several different file formats with different adjustments as often as you like. Please be aware that exported data cannot be re-opened within pco.camware. If you require very long acquisition times, you may record directly onto the harddisc of your PC, bypassing the internal camera RAM or the PC RAM. When using a camera with internal memory (e.g. our pco.dimax series), different memory segments can be selected by where images can be stored individually. This video tutorial demonstrates the Demo Mode available with our pco.camware. The Demo Mode feature allows you to re-open RAW images or sequences which have previously been recorded. The RAW content can be re-loaded, displayed, processed, and saved as often as you like.
