Linear Polarizers

Our advanced polarizer solutions provide precise light control for demanding optical applications. Linear polarizing polymer films are lightweight, flexible, and cost-effective, delivering broad spectral performance. Thin-sheet polarizers, cemented between plano cover glass and supplied in a rotary mount, allow convenient and continuous adjustment of the polarization axis.

For high-precision applications, Glan-Taylor prism polarizers with air-spaced calcite prisms achieve high extinction ratios across most of the aperture. Glan-Thompson prism polarizers, made from cemented calcite prisms, offer similar extinction performance and larger angular fields. They are ideal for systems that require both high polarization purity and broad acceptance angles.
