Thermopile Sensors include electronic circuitry to provide calibration, or just digital output. The line of SMD Thermopiles (surface mount device) offer you significant space efficiency and streamlined integration.

TPMI has become an industry-wide established Excelitas’ functionality. The integrated circuit provides the algorithm and calibration for temperature measurement.

Excelitas DigiPile^® was the first digital output Thermopile Sensor enabling direct connection to your microprocessor and streamlining integration. The DigiPile line of Thermal IR Detectors are designed specifically for non-contact temperature measurement and are available in traditional TO metal housings, as well as in SMD (Surface Mount Device).

Our CaliPile™ is the only one of its kind - an intelligent, multifunction thermal infrared sensor for non-contact temperature measurement and offers motion detection and presence monitoring across short to medium ranges… all from a single and compact unit.

The first and only multi-function Thermopile Sensor of it's kind, the Excelitas CaliPile® Sensor (TPiS 1S 1385) represents a new generation of intelligent IR Sensors, capable of motion detection, presence monitoring and temperature measurement... all from a single, compact sensor package. Featuring a thermopile sensor chip connected to internal circuitry and housed in an ultra-compact housing, the Calipile SMD is suited for highly effective, near-distance sensing (up to 3 m) without supplemental lensing. If the application is high remote temperature sensing, we recommend the TPiS 1S 0185 with a higher dynamic range.

Featuring a confined field of view in an isothermal TO-39 package, the CaliPile TPiS 1T 1386 L5.5 H ensures fast adaptation to ambient temperature changes.
