Achromats NIR, Positive, Unmounted
LINOS® NIR Achromats provide outstanding optical performance for demanding imaging and beam-shaping applications, particularly in the near-infrared spectrum. These unmounted achromats consist of a convex crown-glass lens with low dispersion and a concave flint-glass lens with high dispersion. This carefully designed combination minimizes both longitudinal chromatic and spherical aberrations, ensuring sharp, high-contrast imaging across the NIR range. Precision-engineered cemented doublets with tight focal-length tolerances and minimal wavefront distortion enable optimal laser beam focusing and reliable performance across a wide range of imaging applications, including those requiring high precision in the NIR.
Our achromats are exceptionally well corrected for spherical aberration and are highly suitable for monochromatic applications and for use at two selected wavelengths. The unmounted achromats can be easily mounted, and a wide range of LINOS mounts are available in various sizes, including an extensive selection of object holders.
Our portfolio offers standard NIR achromats in various sizes and focal lengths, all featuring a broadband anti-reflection coating (ARB2 NIR) for optimal transmission and minimal reflection. Customized designs, special coatings, or higher-volume requirements can be provided upon request. Please contact us to request a quote.
For a convenient optical design, ZEMAX files are available for download in the document area. In addition to the optical data and the specified glass type, detailed tolerance specifications are provided for each achromat type, enabling precise and reliable calculations for your optical system.
Beyond our standard portfolio, we can provide custom optical designs, application-specific coatings, and scalable production volumes. Get in touch with our sales team for a tailored quotation.
